"First Annual is a free internet-only EP. Over the last months, we've spent a little time in the studio putting together our next record, but we've still got a while to go until we're finished. So, as it's been over a year since we put anything out and you all have been so cool to us, we thought we'd give you a free preview of what we've been doing in the form of this 3-song EP. Although if you're feeling generous, we appreciate any donation you'd be willing to give in return. Please visit us at our social networking pages (listed below) to keep up to date with us. We'll be announcing shows for the duration of the summer soon, as well as progress reports from the studio, and then once the record's done we'll have a new website in anticipation of its release. Thanks everyone."

Don't forget to wait around the road
The silence it gives way to wind and I feel at home
I feel like, there's many things I'll tell you I should know
Never trust an old beat-down clock radio

Why would you let it go
Are you lonely or are you alone?

Everything you know is on the road
Never stay in one place, you'll feel at home
Never trust an old clock radio, or waiting for the sun to show
My dead-beat head could never tell me when to rest and then it fell

I can't keep a dinner down, too much whiskey
Another round, I'll wait it out
It takes only a sound for me to drown

Views of an empty place, a lost tune, get confused
I don't need solace in something new
'Cause every time the conversation ends
We're still talking, talking in our own heads

I want to know where the sun it goes, doors are locked, windows closed
Can you tell me where it goes?

Slow, never run in a crowd
Never kept in the same old spot
You're never left to be found
I tried, never breaking the thought of it
In my mind
I can't say that I saw it being the way that it was

Days are all around not the same
It's what you erased, causing the empty space
Every time I try to understand, I grow further
Further from where I stand

Dry eyed, you've got me shaking this time
I come back to take this ride, every once in a while
I can't be sure, maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm right
Maybe I lied, you could be right
Maybe I just want to die
Feel the blood rush to my head one last time

One last time, write it on the wall
I've never been one to tell the truth, all in all

I'll never be a friend to your friends
I can't stand the state I'm in
They're gonna live here again

Still thighs, you cried in the bathroom this time
But hated blood too much to do anything out of line

I don't wanna live here anymore
I don't wanna try to so hard, I dont wanna die apart

My bones, my blood, and my hands are never calm
There's sweat in my eyes, but the burn it makes me feel alive
